Day 26. A movie that disappointed you the most

PROMETHEUS

Ok,just hear me out. I’m a BIG BIG Alien fan,Big Ridley Scott fan, I love his movies, I love the team he works with, but when I went to see Prometheus for the first time I expected an Alien movie. And Prometheus was not, I was furious when the movie ended. I was talking with my best friend ” WHAT THE HELL IS RIDLEY THINKING?!?”. An year passed and I watched ”Prometheus” again, thinking I will see this movie as it is,I’m not going to tie it to a franchise, I will not thinking of it as a prequel, just gonna watch it and enjoy. And you know what I loved it! I loved it so much that the past couple of years I think I’ve watched it more than 20 times. I was disappointed at first, not appreciating the movie, not giving it enough credit. I saw ”The Furious Gods: Making Prometheus” recently and I suggest it to everyone, watch it, it’s over 3 hours but it is WORTH IT. I’m glad that there are people nowadays that don’t use CGI for everything and the practical effects still live, and hopefully will live on 🙂

Day 19. What is the most underrated movie?

I really don’t know for MOST underrated, but one of my favourite movies ”Chappie” was kinda underrated by most people. So yeah, I’m putting ”Chappie” here 🙂
CHAPPIE
This movie made me think about possible future in which humans will be able to transfer their conscience into robots/computers,showed me once again how big of a jerks humans can be,the movie made me laugh, made me cry, made me feel. And that’s all I search in a good movie.I loved what Stephen King said about it on twitter ” Loved CHAPPIE. It’s like a children’s story written by an extremely talented psychopath.” and that’s exactly what the movie is.

Day 10. Your favourite director

Here I can put not one but ten favourite directors at least. Martin Scorsese, Neill Blomkamp, Guillermo del Toro, Edgar Wright, James Cameron, Francis Ford Coppola, Quentin Tarantino, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan and the list goes on and on and on… But if I have to pick one, so be it.

RIDLEY SCOTT
I don’t really know exactly what makes him my favourite director, I just love watching behind the scenes of his movies, he is a true master and he always pick and works with the best.
